The olympic torch was coming to Likeard. To celebrate this event, the East Cornwall Harriers organised a fun run for anyone to enter. It was 1 1/2 miles long and included a long hill right at the beginning of the race. My son decided to enter and came 3rd overall . He can be seen in the photo along side his mates celebrating their achievements. As the race was held in Cornwall, everyone had to wear golden yellow and black - the Cornish colours - which made an lovely fresh colour combination for my layout. This layout was taken from the May issue of the 365 magazine, which i really enjoyed putting together.
